PROJECT HISTORY

Proposed Investigation Study on Sewerage System Problem to the existing Beaufort Commercial Centre (September 1992)

  • Investigation work to identify and locate the problem association with the malfunction of the treatment plant and sewer line. Prepare Tender Document to rectify the problem and supervise the work to completion.

Sewerage Scheme for Taman Foh Sang, Reservoir Road, Kota Kinabalu

  • Design and supervision of sewer network and central sewage treatment or housing estate of 282 houses, 32 shophouses and 8 blocks of flats on an area of 30 acres. Total sewage load of 100,000 gallons one day was treated through the ‘Aeroco’ activitated sewage treatment plant. Ancillary works included twin submersible float controlled sewage pumping station and automatic switch on stand-by diesel generator for electrification.

Sewerage Scheme for Taman Fu Yen, Phase 5, reservoir Road, Kota Kinabalu (1971)

  • Design and supervision of sewer net-work and central sewage treatment for low cost housing estate for 285 units. Sewage treatment based on Prof. Kavl Imhoff was adopted. Total capacity is approx. 80,000 gallons per day.

Sewerage and Drainage Scheme for Taman Tai Tet, Tuaran Road, Kota Kinabalu (1971)

  • Design and supervision of sewerage and drainage works for housing estate of 79 units. Totals sewage capacity of 30,000 g.p.d. was treated through the ‘Epco’ sewage treatment plant. Ancillary works included submerged pump house and generation of electricity.

Labuan Drainage (1972)

  • Survey and design proposals for the drainage of Sungai Kina Benuwa (catchment 7.85sq. miles) and Sungei Batu Arau (3.04 sq. miles). The two drainage basins gave a designed discharge of 785 cu. secs. and 304 cu. secs. respectively. Proposal included tidal control structures, flap gates, drain sizes and gradients.

Likas Industrial Estate

  • Surveys, feasibility studied and design proposals for drainage, road system, industrials lots, commercial and residential areas for 350 acres. The total catchment for the main drain is 2,640 acres, and the anticipated run-off estimated is 1,500 cu. secs., which is equivalent to approx. 800 million gallons per day.
  • Asia City, Phase IA & IB (Singgah Mata Urban Development at Kg. Air, Kota Kinabalu) Consultant for all civil engineering works such as drainage, sewerage, water supply and other infrastructure works.

Sindumin Water Supply (1976)

Proposal to augment existing Sipitang/Mesapol Water Treatment Works to 0.25 million gallons per day with capabilities for future extension to 0.5 million gallons per day. Design involved 16 miles of water pipeline, elevated storage reservoirs and balance tanks, plus electrical and mechanical works.
